CFP Board Resources

CFP Board’s Accelerated Path allows individuals who hold one of the CFP Board-approved degrees, licenses and credentials (including CPA, CFA®, ChFC, CLU, licensed attorney, Doctor of Business Administration, Ph.D. in Financial Planning, Finance, Business Administration or Economics) to bypass most of the coursework requirements for CFP^® certification based on the knowledge they have already obtained, and sit for the CFP® exam after they complete a single Capstone Course through a CFP Board Registered Program. Learn about how CFP® Certification can complement your current credentials and the steps of the Accelerated Path to CFP® Certification.
