    Hello everyone,

I am a current CFP designation student enrolled with Dalton Education. I am looking to sit for the exam in November and wanted some advice before I purchase any review material. I've come across several post mentioning or recommending review programs but I haven't seen any post in regards to the practice exams offered through the CFP Board. Does anyone have any insight into the practice exams? Are they worth purchasing and possibly referencing the needed material in the coursework books provided to me by Dalton? Or are the review courses the best way to go?

    Thanks for your input.

Hi William. I am also a Dalton grad, of their live classroom program and the live review. I also purchased the two CFP sample exams. I think any sample exam will help. So if your company will pay for them I’d say use them. But if you have to pinch pennies, skipping them is not a bad idea either. Work the Dalton exam review test bank quizzes repetitively until you master them. This could mean taking each quiz 3, 5, 7 or more times. Take notes on each question missed and look up the answer I the exam review material. Best of luck.
