Congrats to all those who passed recently and for those who did not "hang in there!"
Many have mentioned Question Banks in their prep strategy -- can anyone comment on which banks they used and which they would or would not recommend as helpful!
    Thank you!
    Peace and abundance!

    Hi Jane
I used the Dalton education and the review.  The test bank had 1600 questions broken down by broad subject (Fund, Insurance, Investments, Tax, Retirement, Estate).  It also included specific questions on areas that tend to give student trouble (1250/1245 depreciation for example).  Likewise, it allowed you to create custom quizzes based on specific topic, missed questions, low confidence questions, etc).  I am convinced that doing the entire test bank twice, as well as all of the other topic section questions, as well as making my own custom quizzes helped me pass on the first try.  Whatever program you choose, do lots and lots of questions!  I found the Dalton questions to be harder/trickier than the actual test questions and I am sure that is due to the fact that I did so many leading up to the test.  I hope this helps - Krista

Thank you, Krista, for your direct and passionate response!  You have saved me hours of agony trying to decide on and develop a prep strategy! This platform is a very valuable networking tool (or whatever they call it today)!

    Jane,

The Kaplan Q bank is broken up into two sections. Recall questions - simple, short, designed to help you remember important pieces on information. The second component is analyze and apply these are much more in depth and i found them to be more challenging than what i saw on the exam. You can customize quizes and choose, # of questions, what sections are included, unused questions, review previous incorrect answers, etc. I don't remember the exact # of questions but it was substantial.
